Anithea serves as Extenet System’s Chief Human Resources Officer. She is responsible for all HR objectives, including developing and leading strategic and tactical human capital management planning and driving transformative initiatives to match enterprise growth.
As a highly respected global human resources leader, Anithea comes to Extenet as a results-driven business leader with expertise in leadership development, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, employee relations and engagement, performance management, succession planning and executive coaching experience. Extenet’s human resources team reports to Anithea, who joined Extenet in April 2022.
Most recently, Anithea served as Vice President of HR at JCPenney, where she was responsible for HR initiatives across the enterprise consisting of over 75,000 employees. Prior to her role at JCPenney, Anithea was the Director of HR for Novartis, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, and Yum! Brands Incorporated, an American fast-food corporation listed on the Fortune 1000.
Anithea is a Chicago, Illinois, native and attended Tuskegee University in Alabama.
