Mike serves as Extenet’s Senior Vice President for Customer Solutions. He collaborates closely with major wireless carrier clients to identify opportunities to address capacity and coverage that aligns with the customer’s overall objectives while driving top-line growth for the business.
As Senior Vice President for Customer Solutions, Mike develops technical solutions for optical and wireless telecommunications.
Mike has over 29 years of experience in the wireless industry, 25 of which were leading technical organizations. Prior to Extenet, Mike worked at Sprint for almost 13 years, starting as an RF Engineer and ending as a Director of Regional Planning and Logistics. He has extensive experience creating and executing strategic and operational plans, designing and deploying small cell and indoor wireless networks, and driving operational processes and efficiencies.
Mike joined Extenet in February 2009 as the Director of RF Engineering and went on to become the VP of Solutions Engineering until he was named Senior Vice President of Engineering. During his tenure, Mike has been involved with the design of over 30,000 outdoor nodes and 500 indoor networks, as well as the development of a neutral host fiber multiplexing hardware solution now available on the open market.
Mike has a BS degree from Purdue University and an MS degree from Ball State University. He and his family reside in the Chicago area.
